Recently, the 18th Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (APHRS) Annual Scientific Session was successfully held in Yokohama, Japan. Shanghai MicroPort EP MedTech Co., Ltd. The PulseMagic™ TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter made its international market debut, attracting numerous experts to stop and inquire.


This catheter introduces pressure monitoring and process visualization into a non-thermal energy pathway and is used in synergy with the Columbus™ 3D EP Navigation System. It assists operators in performing ablation procedures that are "more controllable, more consistent, and more accessible" under conditions of stable tissue contact.


Several on-site experts who experienced the product commented that this catheter would provide a more precise and controllable method of energy application for complex arrhythmia treatment, representing an important direction for future ablation technology.


PathBuilder™ Cupid™ Integrated Transseptal Dilator/Needle: Enabling a Truly Zero-Exchange Puncture Procedure.


Another innovative product making its debut, the PathBuilder™ Cupid™ Integrated Transseptal Dilator/Needle, also received unanimous praise from international experts.

 

This puncture needle consists of a catheter with an RF puncture electrode and a control handle, enabling quick, safe, and controllable transseptal puncture through brief, focused radiofrequency energy. The system integrates a guidewire, puncture needle, and dilator, allowing a "zero-exchange" workflow throughout the entire puncture process without the need to exchange needles, guidewires, or sheaths, significantly improving procedural efficiency and safety.


EasyEcho™ Ultrasound Catheter: Facilitating Precise Visualization for Green EP Procedures.

 

The EasyEcho™ Ultrasound Catheter became another major focus at the exhibition due to its dual advantages of high-resolution ultrasound imaging and real-time 3D positioning.

 

This catheter, deeply integrated with ultrasound imaging equipment and the Columbus™ 3D EP Navigation System, can acquire images of cardiac chamber structures and other devices while simultaneously obtaining their corresponding 3D positions in real-time, thereby achieving precise visualization of the procedure. Its innovative design reduces interference signals, enhancing ultrasound clarity and modeling accuracy. Available in 7F and 9F sizes, it significantly lowers the risk of vascular trauma and offers more flexible maneuverability.

 

Several experts indicated that the EasyEcho™ Ultrasound Catheter holds significant value for promoting Green EP practices and is expected to improve visualization capabilities and overall safety for complex procedures.


During the exhibition, experts remotely controlled the Genesis RMN™ System located in MicroPort EP's Shanghai showroom in real-time, experiencing cross-border catheter manipulation.


Compared to traditional procedures, magnetic-driven navigation technology reduces recurrence risk through higher catheter control stability and more precise positioning. It provides a more efficient and safer solution for treating complex arrhythmias, particularly suitable for areas of complex anatomy and high-risk patient groups. This demonstration was considered by several experts to represent the intelligent trend in future arrhythmia treatment.
